A short course brought to you by the Limestone Coast Red Meat Cluster
The Limestone Coast Red Meat Cluster are proud to partner with Livestock SA and ProAdvice once again to deliver a workshop series, ‘Improving your farm business profitability- it’s all in your taxation accounts’ for mixed farms in the Limestone Coast.
Chris Scheid of ProAdvice will once again deliver the two and a half day workshops at the Naracoorte Town Hall, beginning on the 15th of August, 2018.
What is the course all about?
The overall objective of the short course is to teach and show participants how easy it is to calculate a range of profit and financial indicators from taxation financials.
With the assistance of business coaches on the day, you calculate your own businesses profit and financial indicators using your taxation financials– doing it, not just talking about how to do it!
Finally, in your peer boards, you compare your business to industry benchmarks, examine how your banker would assess your business using common financial indicators and create an action plan for real business change.
When is the short course?
The short course will be held at Naracoorte Town Hall (upstairs meeting room) on:
Workshop 1 – Wednesday 15th August 9am–5pm; AND
Workshop 2 – Thursday 23rd August 9am–5pm; and
Workshop 3 – (1/2 day only) Friday 24th OR Monday 27th August (TBC with participants)
What does it cost?
There will be a cost of $350 per business (all family members can attend) to participate in the 2½ day short course. The business knowledge gained will be worth many thousands of dollars.
Participants will also need to commit 2½ days to attend the short course and some minor time in between to review and prepare for the next session.
